Start with the original artwork
Send the original design file whenever possible, together with a viewable preview. A screenshot or a logo copied from a website may be enough to discuss the idea, but may need preparation before production. Include the finished dimensions and the item to be decorated.
For spot-color screen printing
Vector AI or EPS artwork is the preferred starting point for logos and type. Convert fonts to outlines and identify intended spot colors. Include Pantone references where a specific color matters. A raster image placed inside an AI file remains raster artwork.
For photographic & process artwork
Supply a high-resolution original at the intended printed size. Our published guidance recommends roughly 200–300 dpi at creation for photographic work. Enlarging a small image or changing its dpi setting cannot restore missing detail. Include a visual color reference.
For embroidery
Send the logo plus the desired stitched width, placement, and garment. Existing DST, PEC, PES, EXP, PCS, HUS, or PHC files can be reviewed. The stitch plan may need adjustment when moving between fabrics or from a flat item to a cap. Significant resizing often needs redigitizing.
Before you send
Confirm exact spelling, all required wording, print locations, colors, and size. Identify any supplied artwork you do not own and provide permission to reproduce it. Send sensitive or oversized files only using a transfer method agreed with the team.
